Een beetje verlegen zit het jongetje op de trap voor zijn huis. Hij woont in een sloppenwijk in New Delhi en je kan je haast niet voorstellen hoe dat eruit ziet. De kleine huizen zijn gebouwd van alle materialen die maar voor handen zijn. En de huizen hier staan op palen, want als het regent dan staat water hier hoog.

— This little boy sitting on the ladder in front of his home is a little shy. He lives in a slum in New Delhi and it’s really hard to imagine how that looks. De small houses are build with all kinds of materials, whatever they could find. And when it rains, the water rises, so that’s why the houses are build on poles.
